They were the top guns, one of the Navy's foremost fighter squadrons in World War II. In just 76 days, they shot down 154 Japanese planes over the South Pacific (creating 13 aces in the process), a record surpassing the kill roster of the famed Black Sheep fighters under "Pappy" Boyington. They were Navy Fighting Squadron VF-17, Known as the Jolly Rogers,led by Lcdr. "Tommy" Blackburn.

Welcome to VF-17's page of links. The "Jolly Rogers" were an AirWarrior squadron on Gamestorm. The squadron was modeled after the historic VF-17 . It flew the F4U Corsair in defense of C-Land in Big Pac (FR). It was originally formed in February, 1998 by John "BigHog" Felsted.
